?TG0 is a touch-sensitive material that can replace today’s complicated electronic sensors
TG0’s patented platform technology can replace all electronic sensors and chips with one flexible, touch-sensitive material, that has three-dimensional controls that are ergonomic, intuitive, and engaging. The material itself is conductive and, therefore, capable of generating signals. No mechanism is needed underneath, and the material is uniformly injection molded so no mechanism is housed within the material, either. Touch location is detected by using exclusive 3D surfacing geometry to produce unique signal patterns. It is then put through a specific machine to learn the company’s proprietary software.
Since the material can be molded from one continuous material into a 3D shape rather than attached in sperate parts, it’s less expensive to manufacture. The material’s shape and sensing function can be customized depending on the application. Applications include automotive interiors, agile handheld games, and even flexible computer peripherals.
